dr-bensonDr. Randall R. Benson brings a unique skill-set as a scientist, researcher, educator and practitioner to his role as Medical Director at the Center for Integrated Neurology.

As a scientist and researcher, Dr. Benson serves as principle investigator in studies that break ground in our understanding of the brain. Dr. Benson was the first dual Research Fellow in Behavioral Neurology and functional magnetic resonance imaging at Harvard Medical School. He’s authored a number of journal articles on his findings and has spoken before the US Congress on football-related concussion research.

As an educator, Dr. Benson served ten years as an academic/clinical faculty neurologist, ensuring excellence in understanding for the next generation of neurologic professionals.

As a practitioner, Dr. Benson specializes in work with adults experiencing mild- to moderate-Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and other challenging brain disorders. He integrates his unique insights into TBI’s impact on speech, vision, memory and advanced MRI into each neurobehavioral exam—among the most thorough exams available to patients anywhere.
